The newspaper advertise this evening as a "Tree Lighting Ceremony"...I am calling it Christmas in Katy Heritage Park. It was a lovely evening but the tree lighting part was truly lacking. Ha! One would think that a tree should have lights if there is a ceremony involved. It was more like a spotlight on the tree. But, the rest was so nice. School choirs sung, there were arts and crafts for the kids and Santa. Most importantly, the kids had a blast and it was nice being among friends. Thanks Leslie for sharing the pictures! My favorite part of the evening was the kids having so much fun dancing on the porch of one of the historic homes. Nonetheless, it was a great community activity.
The only way for Cooper to be in the picture was for Maddie to hold him.
He just will not cooperate!
Dancing to the Christmas music being sung by school choirs!
The video is so dark but you can see the shadows of the kids dancing and hear the fun music!
