Something to make you smile!

This will definitely have you giggling! Chloe has figured out how to jump in the jumperoo and Cooper is being a ham! It's kind of lengthy but well worth watching.

We finally met baby Bella!

We have a new member to our family! My cousin Shay had her third little girl, Isabella Faith, March 30th. Unfortunately, various things kept us from meeting her. We finally got to meet her this last weekend. She is so tiny! I can't even remember when Chloe and Cooper were that small. I believe she's around 10 lbs now which is only 4 lbs smaller than Chloe but still...she's sooooo itty bitty!

One day, we'll get this picture with them all looking at the camera! Lily, Shay's middle child was not sure about this and it scared her. Poor thing! And poor Coop, the only boy! Diva McKenzie...
Lily ham'in it up...she just wouldn't look at the camera...

So sweet...

Grammy's Visit

Grammy came for a visit June 7th - June 9th. It was a quick trip but busy one for sure! The first night we celebrated her birthday as well as had a Memorial Service for Grandma Lu Lu. Grandma Lu Lu (Todd's grandmother) passed away at the end of May. We ended the night celebrating her life by sharing stories. It was a great evening being with everyone.

Left to Right...Ricky, Brandt, Tammy, Connor, Grammy, Trevor, Brett, Me, Todd, Maddie. Grandma Lu Lu's photo is on the table.

Grammy took Brandt, Connor, Trevor, Brett and Maddie (yep, she's the only girl besides Chloe on the Cummings side) to Splashtown and they closed the place down! Brave woman she is!

First swim and first play date!

Last Sunday, we took the babies for the first time to swim at Lifetime Fitness. After they got used to being in the water they really enjoyed it. For some odd reason, I have always looked forward to the day that I took my baby to the pool. Little did I know that I would be taking two at one time! I think I thought about this even back in high school. Is that weird or what? I've always enjoyed swimming myself so maybe that's where that came from! Anyway, it's very hard to juggle a camera near water while one is holding two babies. After awhile Todd said to me, "Miranda, enjoy the moment and put the camera away!"

Getting ready for the big dip!

Just too awkward trying to take a picture with two babies in the water!

Next on our list of firsts, our first PLAY DATE! Being that I'm a working mom I have been unable to partake in this play date thing that stay home moms do. So, I was very excited about this. I am very blessed to have summers off and be a stay home mom for a couple of months anyway!
My friend Wendy (hostest with the mostest) had her little Zachary exactly one month after Cooper and Chloe. Our due dates were a couple of days apart but mine decided to come a month early! Then, Leslie had her little Nathaniel a month after that! So, four babies within 3 months. The lovely little girl, Carly, is Wendy's daughter. She was in baby heaven! She was such a good sport when Chloe decided to grab a handful of her hair and put it in her mouth! So sweet!

Leslie was given the task to make the babies smile while Wendy and I took pictures...Nathaniel was the winner with the smiles!

My little man sitting up on his own!

Friday was my first day of my summer break! I am off for 6 weeks and I plan on loving and spoiling my babies! Today, my little man decided to sit up on his own. Chloe still needs a little assistance but she is cute as a button so there are a ton of pics of her too!

First picture of my little man sitting up on his own...

Then, I realized that the background was incredibly messy so we moved to another room...

Where did Cooper go Mommy? Cooper is now scooting backwards everywhere so he scooted himself away from my photo shoot!

Bright eyes!

Cooper and Chloe chillin' in Chloe's bed while Mommy and Daddy got ready for church...

Look how sweet they are holding on to their lovies...

Home from church and the camera is back out...

My precious little girl...

Doesn't it look like he's saying, "I got this Mom!"...

Pops and Coops!

Reba is coming back around now and becoming her old self. I guess she's figuring out that the babies aren't going anywhere! They are quite taken with her and she's starting to warm up to them. Don't worry Nana, Reba didn't lick me! I got her though!

Milestones

On June 4th (last day of school), we attended Madison's 5th grade Completion Ceremony. As I was loading these pictures, I came across pictures from years past and I can't believe how much she has grown up already! I was looking at last summer's vacation pictures and she still had her little girl chubby cheeks...where did they go? :( We are very proud of Madison. She got A's through her entire Elementary years on her report card. She received the President's Award signed by President Obama for her academic achievement and TAKS scores.

As Madison went across the stage to receive her certificates, they displayed her picture with a tip to next year's fifth grade students...

Proud Papa...

We love you Maddie...we aren't sure we are ready for junior high!

Next on the list of milestones...Cooper and Chloe turn 6 months old tomorrow! This photo shoot was quite hilarious. Usually, I would pick out the best ones but thought you would find it funny to see the pictures in a row...

Chloe saying, "Cooper, Mama says to leave the bear alone!"

"You just aren't going to listen are you?"

"Okay Mama, here is your one good picture!"

"Alright, we'll leave it alone!"

"We just can't anymore!"

"Feels so good to our teeth!"
Thank you Aunt Donna for our cute outfits!
The chart shows the latest stats from their 6 month doctor visit. As you can see, Cooper is our bigger baby! Chloe is a petite little thing!

Let's see...
A little about Cooper at 6 months old:
-He is ready to get up and go but just can't figure out how to crawl forward instead of backwards. He will get up on his hands and knees but he pushes himself backwards. It's kind of funny because he gets frustrated by it.
-He is a wiggle worm in the bed. He rolls all over the place in his sleep. He is never in the same position when I go check on him throughout the evening.
-Eating 6 to 7 ounces of formula every 3 to 4 hours (stopping around 7:00 PM), cereal twice a day and starting veggies with his evening cereal meal. He has tried green beans and sweet peas so far and just doesn't love them. He will eat them but his face is scrunched up the whole time. It's hilarious!
-He is a charmer. He will flash that charming smiling at the ladies.
-Laughs out loud when you tickle his tummy or squeeze his legs.
-Loves to be outside.
A little about Chloe:
-Starting to roll more from her back to her tummy. Every once in awhile we will find her sleeping on her tummy in the morning.
-Smiles (a HUGE smile) at anything and everything.
-Talks up a storm and VERY loudly.
-First one to wake up in the morning and she does her own version of Todd's "Rise and Shine" song so that Cooper will wake up too!
-Teething is really bothering her. :(
-She eating 6 ounces of formula each time, cereal twice a day and veggies with her evening cereal meal. She likes the green beans and sweet peas much better than her brother does.
-Loves to be positioned where she can see everything that is going on.
Lots of bitter sweetness this week!
