We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

We certainly did!

I am most thankful this year for these three little turkeys...

The babies got a new swing set for their Birthday! They love to swing so we were very excited to get this for them. I am so very thankful that we are able to purchase a gift like this for them and I'm thankful for our friend, Fred, for coming over to help Todd put together. It's quite the task!

We hosted Thanksgiving this year for my family. Cooper definitely enjoyed the attention and turned on the charm. He played ball with everyone, got them to read a book to him and did his dancing jig!

My cousin Zachary, their second cousin.

Chloe was on the shy side today but warmed up to Uncle Chad.

We hope everyone felt as blessed as we did!

Four Years!

Four years ago today, I married my wonderful husband! We celebrated tonight at Perry's Steakhouse and it was sooooo yummy! For the last two years, we weren't able to do much because I was on bed rest both times. I had my first round of IVF and was on bed rest after the procedure for our 2nd anniversary and then for our 3rd anniversary I was on bed rest with the babies. Tonight was very special and felt very different for me. I was a mom sitting at that table with the father of my children. I don't know why, it just felt different. I also think of this day as gaining a wonderful step daugther. Man, what a deal I got! Todd and Maddie both stole my heart and I am so blessed to have them in my life.

When we arrived, rose petals were waiting for us in the shape of a heart....
They brought this out to us after the meal...YUM!
And, couldn't leave these pics out...
Yesterday's ride in the wagon with wearing their new coats...

They love the swings! I can't wait to give them their birthday present! Stay tuned...

Here's to four years Hubby! I can't wait to see what the next four years has in store for us!

Cooper Dancing

Cooper has this little dance that he's been doing for about a month now where he shakes his head back and forth. We haven't been able to get it on video yet so tonight I did it with his back facing me so he wouldn't see the camera. He had been doing this for a good 10 minutes over and over. He figured out which button played the music on the toy and was jamming to it. This brings laughter to our home! Enjoy!

Sorry it's so dark!

Mommy time!

On Friday, I took a personal day off to have a Mommy day! I had a much needed doctor's appt. in the morning and then I headed to the Nutcracker Market with my friend Amber. It was CRAZY! So many woman trying to fit into very little spaces. I didn't really get too much there because it took so long to pay for something. You had to REALLY want it! I enjoyed the day off though and I knew I had one last show to attend on Saturday so I wasn't all that concerned with trying to buy stuff there. I really wanted to look for some unique Christmas gifts this year at all the shows and buy things that I felt were really fitting for the person. I didn't want to just buy to buy, ya know!? I wanted the item to jump out at me. Let's see, I believe I attended maybe 5 shows this year? The top winners were the Second Baptist Celebration show and yesterday's show at the Merrell Center. Here are a few of my favorite things that I got...I can't show you what I got Maddie. I mostly bought stuff for her but those items are hidden for Christmas!

These adorable hats were given to me by a friend of mine who sells them at Second's show....when I got to her booth she insisted that I pick two out for Cooper and Chloe.

I had to add these...they weren't actually craft show items but they are crafty! My mom's co-worker had a friend who sold these appliques that you iron on. (www.zingotots.etsy.com) I just finished them. They cost less than $10 with the onesie from Target! Aren't they cute? I'm sure you'll see some pictures of Cooper and Chloe wearing them soon.

This necklace called my name at Second's show...this is how I feel...totally blessed....I had to buy it! And, Todd calls me Mama to the babies. Cooper is now saying, "Ma Ma Ma Ma."

And, Craft Show Season wouldn't be complete without a crazy pair of shoes! I bought these at the Nutcracker! So fun!

Last year, I was on bed rest so I was unable to attend many of the shows. I just love to get together with the girls and go to these things. I don't typically buy a whole lot but it's still super fun. You do leave with lots of cute ideas that you could make yourself though!

Cooper Time!

My little man is trying to keep up with his sissy!

Another adorable thing he is doing these days...he loves balls!

Playing ball with his Uncle Chad this evening.

11 Month Old!

We took these pictures this morning before church. They were being total hams!

Dad is singing...
I think I say this every month, but where did the time go? They are getting so big so fast. Just think, only one more brown chair/bear picture to go! :( It's amazing how much they are learning, especially in this last month. Their little personalities are shining through. Chloe has such a happy and spunky personality. She is always smiling. She is now hugging those she loves, including her baby doll. It's pretty funny when she hugs Cooper because while she is squeezing him and looking adorable, he's screaming trying to get away. She finds it quite funny. Cooper is more serious and curious but has his funny moments as well. He is doing this little dance thing with his head that cracks us all up and himself. He'll giggle to himself after he's done. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get it on camera yet. I will post it as soon as I do. It will make your day. Chloe is doing the hand gestures to "Itsy Bitsy Spider" by herself. PRECIOUS! She seems to prefer walking after this weekend. She's getting around pretty smoothly and quickly. Cooper took up to 4 steps yesterday and today. They both absolutely love the corner of the room behind the recliner. I'm pretty sure it's a fort to them. They will get back there together and laugh, squeal, bang things, etc. We aren't sure what is so fascinating about that corner but it keeps them entertained for sure. Cooper is in the lead with teeth, he is 5 so far with one coming in. Chloe is still hanging in with 2! I don't even see anything coming in. Their eating schedule really hasn't changed. I'm hoping to go down one bottle soon. Right now, they take 4 bottles a day. Chloe has learned to shake her head no when she doesn't want anymore to eat. When she is done, she is done! Feisty thing! They are sleeping about 10 1/2 to 11 hours a night and only one long nap during the day.

Today, I made their birthday invitations and will be mailing them sometime this week. They turned out super cute! I love it when things I am creating in my head come out right! Again...where did the time go?

Good news to share regarding Maddie...her team won 1st place in this weekend's volleyball tournament! Go Maddie! She played awesome!

I have a prayer request, please visit my Aunt Donna's blog that is in my blog list (Momma C). Her blog will take you to Bear's cancer journey. Bear is my aunt's husband's cousin. He is around my age with a beautiful wife and two children. Please pray for him and his family while they travel down this challenging road.

Have a great week! I can't imagine what new things the babies will do this month.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween was fun and exhausting! We spent the evening with our friends, the Applebys. Not only was this the babies first Halloween, but the first Halloween Maddie spent with us as well! It was really fun watching her get ready for the night.

The babies got an early Birthday present from Nana that made Halloween very fun for them! She gave them this radio flyer wagon and they loved it. They sat in that thing the whole night. Thanks Nana! It made Halloween very enjoyable for them and us!

Uh oh, another Rag Doll!

We weren't quite ready for the babies to join the other kids in the trailer!
They rode along side of it in their new shiny red wagon!

Big sis doing her sisterly duties!

Taking them up to do their first and only trick-or-treat for the evening!

Yes Maddie, you can now go do your jr. high thing with your jr. high friends!
Apparently, 3 jr. high girls would prefer to trick-or-treat by themselves!

Mom and her pumpkins! Oh, and Cooper still wasn't digging the hat!

Morning after...we are exhausted. However, this morning I came across these hats. I bought these hats a year ago for them to wear from the hospital! Needless to say, they were huge! They fit NOW!

How is daylight savings treating us today?

To prepare, we've been keeping the babies up late as possible in hopes that they will wake up later. They have had this internal alarm clock that woke them up at 5:45 no matter what time they went to bed. They typically slept from 7:00 PM to 5:45 AM. They slept as late as 6:30 last week! On average, it was 8:15 PM to 6:15 AM. Last night. they were asleep by 9:00 but woke up today at 5:45 AM (w/ time change). Pretty good. Better than 4:45! They've been a little off today on their feeding, they seem hungrier which does not make sense. Stay tuned! Hoping for wake up times during the 6th hour! Stay out of the 5th babies!
