Cooper Update
Today Cooper had to have the barium test at Katy Memorial. It was an outpatient procedure that lasted about 2 hours. Cooper has been crying through his feedings and throwing up quite a bit lately. During the day he has been fine but after 5:00 Pm or so he becomes very agitated and cries quite a bit. We called the doctor and she said that it was evident that he was in pain and she suspected reflux. She wanted to do the barium test to insure that he didn't have an obstruction to his anatomy before diagnosing him with acid reflux. So, today Cooper was unable to eat anything past 9:00 Am and the procedure was scheduled for 1:00 PM. I was extremely worried about this because our little guy eats every three hours on the dot! So, last night I truly prayed to our Heavenly Father that he would help Cooper feel like he had a full tummy so that he wasn't hungry. This morning, I bathed him in lavender body wash, washed his hair in the lavender shampoo and covered him with the lavender lotion to see if it would help him stay a little sleepy and calm. I think with the prayers and the lavender we made it through the procedure quite nicely. Cooper only got fussy about the last 15 min. or so of our waiting time. Once he was given the bottle with the barium liquid he was fine. He sucked it right up! He seemed in awe of all the fluorescent lights around him and he just kind of looked around through the whole procedure. He did much better than his Mommy did! Thankfully, Cooper does not have anything wrong with his digestive track and he does indeed have reflux which is treatable with medicine. He will take the same medicine that Chloe takes and it should eventually go away. The medicine has definitely helped Chloe. She is a very happy baby now days so we are looking forward to seeing the same change in Cooper. We didn't have our camera so these pictures were taken by Todd's phone. He did so good!

Quality time with Nana and Aunt Donna...
Nana and "GREAT" Aunt Donna had some quality time with the kiddos this weekend. Talk about some cute babies! Coop gets the grumpy face from dad I am afraid. He is not afraid to show you how he "really" feels! We are hoping to get some more smiles out of him soon!
Chloe has been as cute as a bug lately...smiling away...

Two Months Old!
Cooper and Chloe are two months now! I can't believe how fast the time flies. (Gone with the weekly pictures in the bouncers to monthly pictures in the rocker with their teddy bears.)
They start going to Ms. Shelley's house (babysitter) tomorrow. I am confident that they will love Ms. Shelley but of course I am worried, especially since Cooper is so fussy. I have decided to not put my make-up on until after I drop them off. :( Thankfully, she will let me call often!
Okay...Todd just asked me if I was "blogging" and then asked if I was talking about what a wonderful husband he is...so...let me just say that my husband is the greatest! He's the best dad and husband ever! Now...back to the babies! hehe
As you can see, Cooper was not in the mood. Something is going on with our poor sweet boy so I will be calling the doctor tomorrow. He is not happy these days. He seems to be hungry (STARVING) every two hours but cries through the feeding sessions. Hopefully, the doctor can shed some light tomorrow.

Bath Time!
Chloe Girl isn't too fond of baths! I can't imagine a child of mine not liking baths. I'm certain she will grow to love them like her Mommy does! Cute pics will soon come while actually taking a bath. :) For now, here are the cute hooded towel pics we all love!
Cooper hasn't decided if he likes baths or not. He does like his head washed though!

Will they be Dallas Cowboy fans?
We decided to let Cooper and Chloe decide if they would be Dallas Cowboy fans or Texans fans. I shared with them how our whole family is made up of Dallas Cowboy fans and when I was growing up my father was the only one sitting at a small TV at family functions watching the Oilers! Luv Ya Blue! Of course, I followed my Dad and was also an Oiler fan so naturally I am a Texans fan. But, we want to be parents who allow our children to have choices in life and so we told them it was up to them which team they will follow. Clearly they have made their choice...

Still worn out!
Okay...so maybe this picture was staged but we were beyond worn out on Saturday! Cooper ran a low grade temp from his shots until Monday. He finally started to come around Monday evening. The worst day was Saturday so that meant we were ALL (including Maddie) on duty.
Maddie is such a Little Mama! She is a natural...she changes their diapers, feeds them, and comforts them when they cry. I know this isn't always fun for her but Cooper and Chloe are lucky to have her! This is Chloe looking up at her big sis...
