The River Oaks neighborhood is especially beautiful at Christmas time. Last night, Nana, Aunt Donna, Maddie, Cooper, Chloe and I piled in the suburban to drive around looking at the lights after meeting for dinner. My Aunt had already driven around prior and found out that Santa sits in front of a house. People park and actually sit on his lap to take pictures so we gave it a shot. We had been talking up Santa to the babies and hoped that their fear had lessened.
This is our picture with Santa...
This was the house with Santa...
Less scared of the plastic reindeer...
Chloe was scared of it all, she clung on to Big Sis the whole time! She preferred looking at the pretty lights in the car!
Going back on his own for a closer look...
He gives out candy canes, how bad could he be?
It's worth the drive, some were out walking with strollers and others were viewing the lights from their cars. It's beautiful and this one house makes it worth the traffic you drive through to get there.
We haven't made it to Prestonwood yet. If you haven't gone there before it's fabulous. Each street has a different theme. There is one Disney themed street with the Disney castle at the end. I've gone there since I was a child and it has never gotten old.
