Progress Report - Day 3

Day 3 was a great day! The babies are doing great! So is Miranda. Chloe looks bad with all the wires hooked up to her, but she is actually progressing quite well.


After her surfactant treatment, she has really rebounded and is headed in the right direction. Her oxygen concentration was about 44% before the treatment and as of tonight she is 21%, which is the oxygen concentration of normal air. They will make sure her vitals stay stable and then will that her off the breathing help.

If things go well, they will try to start her feeding as well.

Cooper had a big day too. We got to hold him a couple times today. He also had his first bottle feeding today and did really well with it!

It was really cute to watch him feed on the bottle and then be burped. He made some really funny faces during the process.
