Today Chloe had to receive more help for her lungs. She isn't producing enough surfactant in her lungs that we all produce naturally. A tube was given to her to give her the dose of surfactant that she needed. The good news is that she immediately had a good response to the dose and they don't think she will need another. They are slowly weaning her off the oxygen now. She is a few steps behind Cooper. We cannot wait to hold our precious baby in our arms. Tomorrow, they do plan on putting a smaller oxygen tube on her nose so hopefully we'll see more of her cute face! She doesn't seem to like all that stuff on her.
