3 Weeks Old!

We had our first doctor's appointment on Monday, Dec. 29th. Cooper and Chloe turned 3 weeks old also on this day. Here are some pictures that we took before we left for the appointment. The doctor visit went well. Chloe now weighs 6.47 lbs and is 19 3/4 inches long. Cooper now weighs 7.56 lbs and is 20 1/2 inches long. When we left the hospital Chloe weighed 5.5 lbs and Cooper weighed 6.8 lbs. We are doing well other than the fact that we aren't getting much sleep at night! Chloe is quite the night owl like her daddy. She is wide awake for the 2:00 AM feeding time and then does not go back to sleep until after the 5:00 AM feeding time. Cooper sleeps well if sister doesn't wake him up. Todd and I are trying to split the feeding times so that we don't both have to wake up but if one baby wakes up before the other one is finished eating it throws our plan out the window. The 2:00 AM feeding time is the booger for sure!

We have ventured out a few times as well. Last night, we met our friends Wendy and Brandon with their daughter Carly at Panera Bread. Todd and I visited and then ate quickly so that we could get home before it was time to eat again. It was a quick trip but good to get out. We have also gone to Star Furniture and got lots of attention from all the sales ladies! Today, I'm taking them for a walk around the pond. Hopefully, that will go well!!! :)

Chloe makes the funniest faces. She will smile at you and then push her lips out like she is doing in the picture below. I love watching all of her expressions. This is her showing off her full lips!
