We've been busy!

We have been so crazy busy. This week I've been exhausted and going to bed pretty early every night. I think I'm worn out from last weekend! And, it is already Thursday! Here is a recap!

This is actually a short video from the tournament in San Antonio.

Girls who have been at a tournament all day find ways to entertain themselves...

Even though Maddie and Monica are no longer playing for the same club team, they hung out with each other as much as they could...

This cold weather is miserable for me! I am so not a cold weather type person. Bring on the heat any day! This was taken the first day of the freeze before schools decided to shut down! A friend of mine made these hats for them and they didn't want to take them off! Dad doesn't like Cooper's. He thinks its too girly! I think he looks absolutely adorable!

Then, on Thursday, KISD decided to cancel school for Friday. Maddie had Monica spend the night Thursday night to wait for the snow (that never came). We took the opportunity to enjoy a glass of wine with Monica's parents after Cooper and Chloe went to sleep. Ahhh...the joys of having a teenage daughter! While we were out, I was invited by Claudia (Monica's Mom) to go to the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce Gala the next night!

This is us Friday night before the Gala...

It was fun to dress up and wine and dine with ADULTS!

Then, Sunday morning (Superbowl Sunday) Maddie had another tourney!

A few weeks ago, Maddie asked us if we could have a get together with Monica and Mallory's parents for Superbowl. Monica is a HUGE fan of Todd's brisket and requested it as well. So, we decided to throw a small gathering and smoke a brisket.

The girls made Green Bay shirts for the game!

The plan for a small gathering quickly changed and more people were invited...basically, if you ran into us you were invited!

Todd set a TV up in the backyard (we have wired speakers already out there) so it allowed kids to play while parents enjoyed watching the game! It was fun! And, my favorite part about the party. I LOVED having all the kids playing in my backyard. Cooper and Chloe had a blast too!

Todd's best friend Matt's kids!

My work bunch!

Monica's older sister Kristen and her friend Kelly. Kristen has babysat for us a few times and she is awesome!

Mallory's parents (Chris and Christina) with their youngest, Brady!

Monica's Dad, Pete!

I didn't get very many pictures of all our guests. I really was having a great time!

I know this post isn't flowing very well, like I said, I'm tired!

And, today we found out that we have to work on Saturday, Feb. 19th to make up for not being there on Friday. UGH!
