We hope everyone had a happy and safe July 4th! We went to my Aunt's house for her annual party during the day. Cooper woke up that morning barking like a seal so we knew what was yet to come. Our doctor called in a prescription for us and we started the breathing treatments. Even though he wasn't feeling too well we still went to the party. All in all, it wasn't that bad. He just kind of sat on our laps and watched the fun. Today, you can tell it is breaking up in his chest so hopefully we are on the mend and Chloe won't get it too!
I have the hardest time getting pictures with my children. I am always the one taking pictures first of all, secondly, they just don't seem to want to sit long enough with me to take a good one! Here is an attempt to get one with Chloe as she is pushing away from me.
Stinker...
We were afraid the jr. higher was going to be a bit moody...
Until we found her playing her sport with a bunch of cuties!
Cooper found great pride in the duty of retrieving the ball if it went out of the pool. He would jump off our laps, run to get the ball, throw it back into the water, high five whoever held their hand up, and run back to one of our laps. That's about all the energy he had for the day. You know he's not feeling well when he doesn't try to get in the pool!
Waiting for the next ball...
Cutie pie...
Watching the fun...
We left kind of early because of Cooper and got the idea to watch the firework show close to our house. At the time, the babies were asleep in the car and we thought they would continue to sleep while we watched the show. We parked in a nearby parking lot and as soon as the car stopped the babies woke up. We went ahead and set up some lawn chairs and sat outside with them. It was the MOST precious memory of the day. The babies absolutely LOVED the fireworks and I couldn't take my eyes off them. Maddie loved having Chloe in her lap and sharing Chloe's first time to see them with her. Cooper kind of hopped from my lap to Dad's but loved them just as much. It was the perfect way to end the day. There is something to be said about sitting with your husband and children watching a beautiful firework show. Loved it! Can't wait to do it again next year.

Love that mental picture of y'all watching the fireworks. Such a sweet memory! Can't wait to play soon!
